New work

This is my second piece of work. I’ve called it simply Abstract;

This one took quite a while to finish as I had 5 or 6 firings on it. As you may or may not know, each time you put colour on a tile, you have to have it fired in a kiln. Each time you have a piece of china or porcelain fired in a kiln, there is a small chance of it cracking or breaking due to the immense heat. So far I have been lucky in that none of my pieces have cracked.

Hello!

This is my first blog and first post. I have decided to create a blog about one of my passions – china painting. It’s one of my favorite things to do in my spare time and although I am by no means an expert, I hope to be one day.

I have created this online portal to exhibit all my work so that people can see it, comment on it, give me feedback on it, and hopefully enjoy it.
